What/Che cosa:
An exhibition developed around the most famous English detective ever. A character born from the pen of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, Sherlock is still alive today through many films and TV series.

You don't need to know everything about this character or to have read all Conan Doyle's books rather than being a huge Cumberbatch's fan. "Sherlock" is NOT the arrival point, he is the means through which the visitor can reach several interesting and historical subjects.
How/Come
This exhibition explores and studies the evidence History left us, just like Sherlock does. The figure of this fantastic character guides us through the atmosphere of Victorian London (using beautiful paintings, maps, and old photographs), he show us scientific experiments and practices modern forensic science owes its origins to, objects and technologies born at the beginning of the XIX century and still used today (telephone and typewriter).
Whether you are a fashion lovers or chemistry addicted, you could find something you like in Sherlock Holmes' world.
Unfortunately, taking photo at the exhibition is not allowed ( I didn't notice that until I was scolded by a museum guard), so I have to replace my photos with some quick sketches and quotes from Doyle's books. I hope they are exhaustive enough.
